Q: Do you have moving equipment on site?
A: Shamrock Storage has a dollie in the rear of the moving truck that tenants can use free of charge!
Q: What time can I access my unit?
A: Shamrock tenants have secure 24 hour access at all times (24 hours a day, 7 days a week). Tenants can also use our 24/7 Self Service Center to pay their bill or rent a unit.
Q: Are the contents of my storage unit insured?
A: Shamrock does not insure the goods that you store in the unit, most times a tenant can be covered under their already existing homeowners or renters insurance policy. We advise each tenant that we do not insure their contents and request that they contact their current insurance carrier to see about their storage unit contents. If they do not currently have an insurance carrier we can get them in touch with a local insurance agency for the proper coverage.
Q: What are the lengths of the leases?
A: Shamrock does not have a “required” lease period; however, we can write a lease for as short as one month or up to a longer term. We will work with the tenant on what best fits there needs and wants.
Q: Does Shamrock pro-rate the rent depending upon the move in date?
A: Yes, Shamrock does pro-rate the first month if you move in after the 15th of the month. The move out month; however, is not pro-rated.
Q: Are there any security deposits that are required upon lease signing?
A: Yes, Shamrock does charge a security deposit to our tenants.
Q: What forms of payment does Shamrock accept?
A: We accept MasterCard, Visa and Discover as well as personal checks, Money Orders and Bank Checks. We can also set our tenants up on automatic monthly with-drawls for easy, peace of mind bill pay.
Q: Does Shamrock supply a lock or does the tenant supply there own?
A: Shamrock will supply all tenants with a brand new, high grade disc lock upon the rental of a unit that is the tenants to keep upon lease end.
Q: What types of items and uses are prohibited of a storage unit?
A: Shamrock does not allow storage of any types of food, illegal contraband, explosive materials or highly flammable goods such as gas, propane, oil, paints, etc. No living things such as plants and animals are allowed to be stored in a storage unit. No public sales of any kind including garage sales, auctions and flea markets may be conducted within the facility by a tenant.
Q: What are a few of the security features that Shamrock has in place?
A: Shamrock offers the following security features to our tenants: State of the art security including video monitoring as well as recordings, personalized key-codes for secure tenant only access, well lit units and parking areas as well as 6' premiter fencing. Shamrock prides itself at offering only the highest of quality service to all tenants of the facility at all times.
